Kimberly Ann is an author of spicy, feel-good contemporary romance. She writes relatable, mostly small-town characters, swoony heroes who meet their sassy matches.

She is addicted to coffee, loves whiskey, hockey, and romance novels. Living on the West Coast of Canada with her husband, two children, and energetic German Shepherd, Kimberly fills her (very limited) spare time writing or reading about happily ever afters.

A widowed single mom, a tattooed brewery owner, and a winter they will never forget.

After losing her husband, the last thing Mandy Adams wanted in her life was a man. Being welcomed into a tight-knit circle of friends, her plan was thrown to the wind in the form of a persistent and devastatingly handsome brewery owner. Caught between protecting her two children and giving into her desires, Mandy needs to decide if she can let her guard down and love again.

On the verge of expanding his brewery, Zach Richardson is living the dream. His days are filled with making beer and his nights with drinking it and hanging out with his friends. The last thing he’s looking for is love, especially in the form of an insta-family, but the addition of a certain redhead in his circle of friends will make him rethink everything he thought he wanted.

Torn between his workaholic lifestyle and a taste of family life he didn’t know he wanted, Zach needs to find a balance and prove to Mandy he can be the man her family needs.

Will the he be able to convince her to be his forever Valentine, or will Mandy turn away at a second chance at true love?

Q&A with Kimberly Ann

Q: Can you tell me a bit about yourself and how you became an author?

A: I’ve always loved reading. I love how books can take you anywhere, be with anyone, and experience things that you wouldn't normally experience. When I started reading romance, I struggled to find books that I wanted to read, so I decided to start writing!

Q: What is your writing process like?

A: The characters come to me first usually through a dream or inspired by a song. Then they start to tell me their story and I start writing.

Q: What do you like to do when you are not writing?

A: I like to read, go for walks in my city, and spend time with family and friends.

Q: How do you celebrate when you are finished writing a book?

A: I don’t usually do too much! I start the next one.

Q: How do you celebrate when your books are released?

A: I don’t usually do too much for the release. I might celebrate when the Logan Creek series is complete.

Q: Can you tell me how the book/series came about?

A: The Logan Creek series was inspired by a song. I got the idea of a couple meeting while camping with their friends. Their stories came about from there.

Q: Are any of your characters similar to real-life friends or family?

A: Not really, at least not intentionally.

Q: What was the most challenging part of writing this book?

A: Writing it as a book that showed Zach and Mandy’s journey. It’s such a different story from my last books, I wanted to make sure they were portrayed properly.

Q: What part of writing this book was the most fun for you?

A: Getting to know Zach and Mandy. They are such a fun couple.

Q: What Authors or other Books have inspired you to write this book?

A: I love Claire Kingsley. I love how she writes such interesting and amazing people set in small towns.

Q: If you could meet any of your characters, who would it be and what would you say to them?

A: That’s hard, I want to meet all of them!  I would love to be able to hang out at The Nest or the Logan Creek Brewing Company and have a drink with them.
